Paediatric Oncology

The department of pediatric oncology treats medical needs of both paediatric; and young peoploe with blood diseases or cancer. Our team is specially trained to work with adolescents cancer patients. Institute has specialized 12 bedded Pediatric Oncology Ward.

The department caters diagnose, treat and offer constant health care for children and adolescents with:

· All forms of childhood cancers.

· This includes blood cancers, like leukemia and lymphoma

· All types of solid tumors, such as brain tumors, soft tissue tumors and   bone tumors.

· Non-cancerous blood disorders include sickle cell anemia and   thalassemia.

· Bleeding and immunodeficiency disorders, like hemophilia and severe   combined immunodeficiency syndrome.
