Internal Medicine

The department of internal medicine consists of experienced internists who deal with the comprehensive evaluation, treatment and management of patients with a range of specialized medical conditions.

The faculty is vigorously involved in giving emergency care to all the medical emergencies besides comprehensive evaluation, treatment and management of cancer and cancer-related health issues. Evaluates all the medical needs of cancer patients and focus on the medical complications of cancer and cancer treatments, treats and manages hypertension, diabetes and general medical disorders and offers evaluation and management or referral of patients with cancer. This division work collectively with other departments to make sure thorough and well-formed patient care.

The physicians also take care of all the Preventive Health Check programmes of the institute. They have proficiency in prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of common disorders like diabetes, hypertension, bronchial asthma, hepatitis, allergy, infections & communicable diseases like malaria, typhoid, influenza, etc.
